The company employs 94 staff at our unit in Kings Cross, all of which have been specifically trained to provide excellence in their specialised areas. We offer a wide range of products tailored to the specific needs of staff restaurants, hospitality dining rooms Michelin star restaurants, the emphasis is on efficiency, quality and service.
We are a registered training centre for CIEH Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering Certification and all our employees have been trained to this level. We also employ a Quality Assurance Manager full time whose responsibility is to monitor the company’s procedures and audit all our external suppliers.We have been accrediated to the British Retail Consortium Global Standard- Food (Higher Level)Technical Standards and Protocol for the processing, packaging and distribution of marine and farmed species of fish and shellfish. We have also achieved the Seafish Processor Quality Award (Higher Level)
All our Directors, functional managers and supervisors share in our committment to comply with The Food Safety Act 1990, The Food Hygiene (England) Regulations 2006, The Food Safety (Fisheries Products and Live Shellfish) (Hygiene) Regulations (EC) NO. 853/2004 laying down specific hygiene rules for food of animal origin. We achieve this by having a specified HACCP team who monitor and audit in compliance to the British Retail Consortium version 4 Codes of Practice.
